COVID-19 and UP
As you all likely know, the spread of COVID-19 has been rapidly increasing in British Columbia. As such, many institutions are being recommended (and have opted) to close and suspend services to support social distancing recommendations from our government.
To align with this movement we have made the difficult decision to cease BI services at UP Early Intervention Clinic for the remainder of March, 2020. This means will will not be running any BI sessions effective immediately.
We are hoping to resume services beginning Wednesday April 1st 2020, however, we will be monitoring this ever-changing situation closely. Another notice will be sent out on Monday March 30th to families and partners confirming that our doors will indeed open as of Wednesday April 1st.
It is our hope that this difficult decision is in the best interest of our community at large and assists in slowing down the transmission of COVID-19 so that our health care system may remain effective for all that need it.
